The nice thing is we can always start again.
For work, I set an intention at the beginning of the year to restructure my days so I could spend more time creating content for my newsletter, blog and instagram. I was going to set aside a morning every week to write. There were many weeks that the plan worked, but other weeks where it didn’t. The last few weeks have been more difficult, both in the flow of ideas and the time to write. I’m going to RENEW my commitment to set aside time each week to write in the morning, when I’m most productive.
Personally, I wanted to stay committed to my daily yoga practice. This was sidelined for several weeks due to 2 separate minor injury’s that needed time to heal. Things can change in an instant - which makes me grateful for everyday that my body is able to do the yoga practice.
Keeping the commitments we make to ourselves is important, but we can’t be so rigid to not allow for a shift when things change.
Even getting organized can be two steps forward one step back. It is a process that takes time, thought and the ability to regroup when something isn’t working.
This month, I invite you to reflect on the status of the new habits you set for yourself. What is working? What is not working? What can you RENEW?
